Ring Sizer \u2014 Find Your Perfect Size
Choosing the right ring size is essential for your comfort and safety. At Tu Joyita Miami we use the standard United States sizing system. Use this guide to find your perfect size from home.
Method 1: Measure with String or Paper
This is the simplest and most accurate method you can do at home:
- Cut a strip of paper or a string about 10 cm long
- Wrap the strip around the base of the finger where you will wear the ring
- Mark the point where the strip crosses
- Measure the marked length with a ruler in millimeters
- Find your measurement in the conversion chart below
Important tips:
- Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are slightly larger
- Avoid measuring when your hands are cold (fingers contract)
- Measure at least 3 times and use the average
- If the knuckle is wider than the base of the finger, measure both points and choose an in-between size
Method 2: Use an Existing Ring
If you already have a ring that fits well:
- Place the ring on a ruler
- Measure the inner diameter (from inner edge to inner edge) in millimeters
- Find the diameter in the conversion chart
Important: Make sure to measure the inner diameter, not the outer.

The most popular women ring sizes range from 5 to 8, being the size 6 and 7 the most common ones. If you buy a ring as a surprise, size 6 is a safe bet for most women.

The most popular men ring sizes range from 8 to 12, being the size 9 and 10 the most common. If buying as a surprise, size 10 is usually a good starting point.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Wide rings: If the ring width is greater than 6mm, order half a size larger than usual
- Temperature: Your fingers change size with temperature. Measure in a warm environment
- Time of day: Fingers swell slightly during the day. Measure in the evening for best accuracy
- Dominant hand: Fingers on the dominant hand are usually slightly larger
- Pregnancy and weight: Weight changes can affect your finger size
